    The U.S. House race in Michigan's 9th District, pitting former State Senator and State Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters (D) against incumbent Rep. Joe Knollenberg, has seen a great deal of polling the last few days.     Yesterday I wrote about the importance of not just winning, but breaking their backs and crushing their spirits . How do we do this? We currently have a 38 seat majority -- 236 to 198.
